Messi Eau de Parfum, composed by Frank Voelkl and released in 2024, is a sweet, woody fragrance for men. Wood is what everyone notices; most also find it gourmand, and a minority pick up spice, greenery, herbs and leather.

Apple and apple leaf open it crisp and green, with cardamom adding a cool, aromatic spice and lavender a clean herbal note. The heart is cypress and Virginia cedar, dry and resinous, with orris root adding a soft, powdery touch. The base is warmer and sweeter than the start: vanilla and vanilla bean for a creamy sweetness, patchouli for earth and leather for a dark, slightly rough edge.

It is marketed as masculine and has a versatile character, fresh enough for daytime but with a warm, sweet drydown suited to evenings and the cooler months.
