Saharian Wind by Mancera, released in 2020 and composed by Pierre Montale, is a dry, spicy woody scent with a leathery streak. Everyone describes it as woody, about two thirds also find it spicy and aromatic, and a third notice leather, florals and citrus.
Leather and spices open it alongside bergamot and pink pepper, a sharp, warm start with just enough citrus lift. The heart cools things down: cypress brings a dry, resinous green, lavender a herbal cleanness, and lily of the valley a thin, fresh floral line through the middle. The base is broad and warm, with tobacco and patchouli for depth, vanilla and amber for a soft sweetness, and white musk to smooth the edges.
It is worn by anyone. Most wearers find it long lasting, and projection is split evenly between strong and moderate. Autumn and spring lead the seasonal votes, and day and night are almost level, so it is not tied to one setting. It suits someone who likes dry, spicy woods with a leather edge.
