Sensual by the French house M. Micallef, composed by Jean-Claude Astier and released in 2016, is a simple, sweet gourmand. Everyone who describes it calls it sweet, and about half also find it woody or musky.
Only four notes are listed, and they tell the whole story. Caramel gives a rich, burnt-sugar sweetness at the front. Vanilla deepens it into something warmer and softer, more cream than crunch.
