Velvet Rose from Lattafa Perfumes is a dark, warm rose. Everyone who describes it finds it woody, musky, floral, resinous and amber in equal measure, which reflects how evenly the five notes share the stage.
Rose is the floral centre, deep and slightly jammy rather than fresh. Labdanum brings a warm, leathery, balsamic resin that gives the fragrance its ambery glow, and amber itself reinforces that warmth. Patchouli adds an earthy, slightly chocolatey depth and gives the composition its woody side. Musk rounds everything into a soft, lasting finish that sits close to the skin.
