Raghba Wood Intense is a men's scent from Lattafa Perfumes, released in 2014, that everyone describes as woody and most as gourmand, with an amber side noticed by a good share and green and musky touches by a few. Think sweet, dark woods with a dessert-counter layer on top.
The opening is unusual for a wood scent: liquorice and caramel sit beside cedar and guaiac wood, so the first impression is both sugary and smoky. The heart deepens with agarwood, bringing a resinous, slightly medicinal depth, alongside sugar, cashmere wood and sandalwood for a soft, creamy warmth. The base is long and heavy, with incense adding a church-like smokiness, vanilla and amber keeping it sweet, and musk and oakmoss grounding it.
