His Confession, a 2024 men's release from Lattafa Perfumes, is a warm, sweet woody scent with a spiced, aromatic opening. Everyone who describes it calls it woody, about two thirds add gourmand and amber, and a third mention spicy, aromatic or citrus facets.
It opens with mandarin, cinnamon and lavender, so a juicy citrus and a clean herbal note are both wrapped in baked spice from the first minute. The heart is drier and more structured: cypress gives a green, coniferous freshness, iris a cool, powdery softness, benzoin a balsamic sweetness, and Mahonial, a modern floral molecule, a bright, magnolia-like lift. The base is where it settles for the long haul, with amber, vanilla and tonka bean for warmth and sweetness, cedar and patchouli for dry, earthy woods, and incense for a faint, smoky edge.
