Confidential Platinum is a woody scent for men from Lattafa Perfumes, released in 2022. Everyone who describes it calls it woody, and two thirds add spicy, green, resinous, amber and citrus, so it is a dense composition with several things happening at once.
Bergamot and citruses give a bright opening, sharpened by black pepper and cooled by sea water and sea notes, which add a salty, airy freshness. Cypress brings a green, evergreen tone in the middle. The base is the heaviest part: frankincense for dry, churchy smoke, labdanum and ambergris for a warm, salty amber, oakmoss and moss for a damp forest-floor depth, and musk to smooth it all out over the woody notes.
