It opens with unnamed fruity notes, a juicy, sugary brightness that leads straight into the heart. There, rose and jasmine form a classic floral pair, the rose adding a slightly jammy richness and the jasmine a heady sweetness. The base is where the warmth gathers: vanilla gives a creamy, dessert-like softness, amber a resinous glow, musk a smooth skin-like finish and cedar a touch of dry wood to keep it from becoming cloying.
