Touch of Pink, released by Lacoste Fragrances in 2004 and composed by Domitille Michalon Bertier, is described first as spicy, with about half of wearers also calling it gourmand and citrus, and smaller groups noticing green, musky and floral sides. For a feminine scent it has an unusually peppery, aromatic character.
Orange, blood orange and peach open it with juicy fruit, but coriander and cardamom are there from the first spray, giving the citrus a warm, spiced edge. The heart keeps the spices and adds jasmine, violet leaf and carrot seed, which bring a green, slightly earthy tone. The base is soft musk, vanilla and sandalwood.
Most people report moderate longevity and a moderate trail, with a minority finding it weak. It is voted overwhelmingly for daytime and for summer and spring, which suggests a bright, easy scent for warm days that has a little more character than a plain fruity floral.
