Green apple opens it, crisp, juicy and slightly tart, which is where the gourmand impression comes from. The heart is pine tree, a cool, resinous green wood that gives the scent its outdoors character. The base is patchouli and vetiver, earthy and dry, so the drydown is clean, woody and a little dark rather than sweet.
