Un Air de Bretagne is a fresh, woody citrus with a floral touch and a soft amber base, built around the coast of Brittany. L'Artisan Parfumeur released it in 2017, and the perfumer is Juliette Karagueuzoglou.
The opening is bright and salty: bergamot and other citruses provide the lift, while calone and seaweed give the marine, sea-breeze feel that defines the scent. Neroli adds a clean, slightly bitter orange blossom, which is where the floral side comes from. Cypress and cedar bring a dry, evergreen woodiness, like trees above a beach, and ambergris gives the base a warm, mineral finish.
