Collection Azur Riviera Sunset, a 2024 women's fragrance from the French house Jeanne Arthes, is openly sweet: everyone who describes it calls it gourmand, and a minority also find it green, woody, musky, floral and citrusy.
Cherry, peach and pineapple give a juicy, sugary, tropical opening, with lemon adding a brief zesty lift and black currant with currant leaf a tart, green edge. Floral notes soften the heart. Caramel then thickens the sweetness in the base, with sandalwood adding a creamy wood and musk a soft, skin-like finish.
