Pop Delights 03 is a feminine fragrance from the French house Jean-Louis Scherrer, released in 2017 and composed by Julie Massé. Despite the playful name, it is a woody rose: almost everyone calls it woody, two thirds floral, and about a third notice spice, sweetness or citrus.
The notes are given as one list. Mandarin orange offers a juicy, bright opening, and saffron adds a leathery, slightly bitter spice. Turkish rose and rose form the heart, deep rather than dewy. The base is where the weight lies: patchouli for earthiness, sandalwood for creaminess, agarwood for a dark, resinous woodiness and vanilla to sweeten the whole.
