The notes are ungrouped. Mandarin orange and apple suggest a bright, fruity start, sharpened by black pepper, cardamom and nutmeg, which give warmth and a dry spice. Papyrus adds a smoky, slightly green woodiness, and cedar, cashmere wood and vetiver build a dry, earthy heart. Oakmoss and moss lend a forest-floor greenness, while patchouli, vanilla, musk and amber form a base that is warmer and softer than the opening.
