Pleats Please L'Eau, released by the Japanese house Issey Miyake in 2013 and composed by Aurélien Guichard, is a light, woody rose for women. Flowers lead, two-thirds of wearers also find it woody, and a third note spice or musk.
Wild rose opens it, fresh and slightly green. The heart is Bulgarian rose with neroli, a brighter orange-flower note, and pink pepper for a gentle, rosy warmth. The base of white musk, cedar and patchouli is clean and dry, with the cedar keeping the rose from turning sweet.
