Twilly d’Hermès, released in 2017 and composed by Christine Nagel, is a ginger and tuberose floral for women. Everyone describes it as floral, two thirds add citrus, and a third find it spicy, sweet or woody.
The opening is bitter orange and bergamot sharpened with ginger, bright and lightly peppery. The heart is tuberose, creamy and heady, made fresher by orange blossom and jasmine so it reads as youthful rather than heavy. The base is sandalwood and vanilla, a soft, milky warmth that rounds off the flowers without turning the scent into a gourmand.
Wearers mostly report moderate longevity, with a third finding it long lasting, and sillage is moderate for most and strong for a fifth.
