Wormwood starts things off with a bitter, herbal, slightly absinthe-like sharpness. The heart is where the spice gathers: white pepper adds a clean, dry bite, nutmeg and ginger bring a warm, rounded heat, and lavender lends an aromatic, herbal freshness. The base is the richest part, with Peru balsam giving a sweet, resinous, vanilla-like warmth, sandalwood a creamy smoothness and suede a soft leather texture, all wrapped in amber.
Warm, smooth and spicy, it is an easy scent for cooler days and evenings, from a dinner out to a relaxed weekend. It suits someone who likes a classic spicy-woody profile that feels comforting rather than sharp.
