Champs Elysees Eau de Parfum is a sweet floral from the French house Guerlain, composed by Jacques Guerlain, Olivier Cresp and Jean-Paul Guerlain and released in 1996. Sweetness and flowers lead equally, with lighter woody, spicy, green and fresh touches.
Peach, black currant and melon open with a juicy, fruity sweetness, while almond and anise add a soft, marzipan-like spice. The heart brings rose, mimosa, lilac and almond blossom, which give a powdery, petal-soft bouquet. In the base, sandalwood and cedar bring a smooth wood, and benzoin and vanilla a warm, sweet finish.
About half of wearers find it long lasting, and sillage is moderate or strong. It is voted mostly for spring and largely for daytime. It suits elegant daytime occasions, and someone who likes powdery, almond-tinged florals in a classic Guerlain style.
