Eau d'Evolution by Gravel, composed by Maurus Bachmann in 2025 and worn by anyone, is a full white-floral bouquet over a sweet, resinous base. Everyone who describes it says floral, about half add sweet, a third musky, ambery or citrusy, and a minority green.
Bergamot, lime and pink pepper give the opening a bright, lightly spiced citrus, with angelica root adding a green, earthy, slightly musky herbal note. The heart is generous: tuberose and orange blossom for creamy, heady white flowers, magnolia for a lemony freshness, rose petals for softness, and iris for a cool powder. The base is where the sweetness lives, with vanilla absolute, tonka bean and Siam benzoin forming a warm, balsamic, almond-tinged accord, grounded by cedar and smoothed by white musk and amber.
Longevity and sillage have not yet been reported. The tuberose and vanilla make it an evening and cool-weather floral rather than a light summer one.
