Ambassador Intense, released by Gisada in 2022 for men and composed by Olaf Larsen, is a spiced, sweet and complex fragrance with a great many notes. Everyone describes it as spicy; about two thirds also find it gourmand and floral, about half woody, and a third resinous or amber.
The opening is crowded but coherent: cardamom, ginger and nutmeg bring warm spice, incense a smoky edge, and mandarin with bergamot a brief citrus lift. The heart turns sweeter and warmer, with cinnamon and cloves, a caramel and raspberry thread, and a soft floral layer from jasmine and heliotrope. The base is long and dense, with leather, vetiver and oakmoss giving a dark, dry grounding beneath tonka bean, vanilla and amber.
Most wearers find it long lasting, many eternal, and a majority report a strong trail. It is voted equally for winter and autumn, and mainly for night. It suits cold evenings and dressed-up occasions, for someone who likes a rich, spiced sweetness with real staying power.
