Sì Intense is Giorgio Armani's deeper version of Sì, released in 2014 for women and composed by Julie Massé. Floral is the word everyone uses, about half also find it sweet, woody or citrus, and a quarter notice amber.
It opens with blackcurrant, tart and slightly green, alongside mandarin, bergamot and freesia for brightness. The heart is a May rose surrounded by osmanthus, which adds an apricot-like fruitiness, neroli for a clean orange-blossom freshness and artemisia for a bitter, herbal edge that keeps it from being too pretty. The base is vanilla and patchouli over woody notes and ambroxan, warm and smooth with a dry, slightly earthy finish.
Wearers report it as long lasting more often than not, with a quarter calling it eternal, and sillage is split between strong and moderate. Winter and autumn are the preferred seasons, and it is voted for night about two to one. It suits evenings in cooler weather and anyone who likes a fruity rose with real depth beneath it.
