Grapefruit and pink grapefruit give a bright, juicy, slightly bitter opening, and rhubarb adds a tart, green-pink crispness. Sichuan pepper brings a tingling, electric spice, and nutmeg a softer, warm one. Lemon blossom and vanilla flower add a light floral touch in the middle. The base becomes warmer and sweeter: vanilla gives a creamy, comforting sweetness, while vetiver, including Bourbon vetiver, brings a dry, grassy, slightly smoky woodiness, and sandalwood and amber a smooth, glowing finish.
