Angel's Dust is a powdery, spicy floral from Francesca Bianchi, a perfumer based in the Netherlands who composed it under her own name and released it in 2016 for anyone to wear. Everyone who describes it calls it floral, most find it spicy, and a third notice wood, musk, resin and amber.
The notes are listed without stages. Black pepper gives the opening a dry, sharp bite. Iris is the centre of the composition, cool, powdery and slightly earthy, with rose and mimosa adding a soft, honeyed floral warmth around it. The base of benzoin, tolu balsam and vanilla is resinous and sweet, and sandalwood with musk gives the drydown a creamy, skin-like softness that makes the powder feel intimate rather than dusty.
