Wilde is a 2024 release from the British house Floris, composed by Caterina Catalani and made to be worn by anyone. Floral is the word everyone uses, about half also call it fresh or resinous, and a quarter mention spice, amber or citrus, which points to a flower scent with sea air on one side and incense on the other.
The notes are listed together. Bergamot, lemon blossom and citrus blossom give a bright, slightly green opening, ginger adds warmth and sea water a cool salty edge. Carnation and jasmine form the heart, the carnation bringing a clove-like spice. Frankincense gives the base a dry, smoky, church-like resin, softened by benzoin and sandalwood.
