Tuberose in Silk, from the British house Floris, was released in 2020 and composed by Penny Ellis. It is a tuberose soliflore pitched as feminine; almost everyone describes it as floral, and only small groups mention spice, musk, resins or amber.
The notes are listed together. Tuberose and Indian tuberose are the centre, creamy, heady and a little green, and camphor adds the cool, slightly mentholated edge that natural tuberose carries. Pink pepper gives a light, rosy spice at the start. Jasmine and orange blossom deepen the white-floral heart, and iris adds a cool powder. Benzoin, amber and musk round off the base with a soft, resinous warmth.
Community reports on longevity, sillage and season have not yet been gathered. On its structure it is a true white floral, best in spring and summer or for evening wear, for someone who loves tuberose and wants it without heavy sweetness. It comes in 50 ml and 100 ml bottles.
