Lemon and bergamot open with a crisp, bright citrus, and sea water, sea notes and calone add a salty, watery freshness, like a breeze off the sea. Elemi brings a resinous, peppery-lemon lift. In the heart, immortelle adds a warm, slightly honeyed and herbal note. The base of cedar, patchouli and ambrocenide is dry, woody and gently ambery, giving the freshness a solid backbone.
Its marine, woody character suits spring and summer, daytime and coastal holidays, but the resinous base gives it enough depth for cooler days too. It should appeal to someone who wants a refined aquatic with real woody structure rather than a simple sporty freshness.
