Blue Talisman is a fresh woody fragrance from the French house Ex Nihilo, composed by Jordi Fernández and released in 2023 for anyone to wear. Everyone who describes it calls it woody, most also find it citrusy, and a third notice spice, sweetness, musk and flowers.
It opens with bergamot and mandarin orange for brightness, pear for a juicy, slightly sweet crispness, and ginger for a warm, peppery tingle. The heart pairs orange blossom, clean and lightly honeyed, with Georgywood, a modern woody material with a dry, slightly spicy, cashmere-like character. The base of cedar, akigalawood, musk and Ambrofix is dry, peppery-woody and softly ambery, giving the fruit and flowers a crisp, long-wearing foundation.
