Girl of Now Forever takes the sweet, nutty idea of the Elie Saab line and tilts it towards fruit and rose. Released in 2019 and composed by Dominique Ropion, it is described above all as gourmand, with woody and floral character noted by about half of wearers and a musky, citrus edge by a minority.
The opening pairs raspberry with lemon peel, so the first impression is tart and bright rather than syrupy. The heart brings rose and blackcurrant, a jammy, slightly green fruitiness, softened by orange blossom and the familiar almond note that links it to the original. In the base, vanilla and musk give a warm, cushioned sweetness, while patchouli and cashmeran add dry woods and keep the drydown from turning cloying.
Most people find the longevity moderate, with a good share calling it long lasting, and sillage splits almost evenly between moderate and strong. Unlike many gourmands it is voted for spring and summer, and for daytime by a clear majority, which makes it a sweet scent for warmer, brighter days rather than winter evenings.
