Egypt is a spicy woody fragrance from EIGHT & BOB, released in 2014. Spice and wood are the words everyone uses for it, and about half also find it green, aromatic, leathery and citrusy.
The opening is lemon and lavender over moss, a fresh, aromatic start with a dry, slightly earthy greenness underneath. The heart is cardamom and nutmeg, two warm spices, the cardamom cool and slightly green, the nutmeg dry and woody, which together give the scent its character. The base of sandalwood, patchouli and leather is smooth and dark, the sandalwood creamy, the patchouli earthy, and the leather adding a worn, supple warmth.
Most people find the longevity moderate or long lasting in roughly equal numbers, and the projection moderate. It is voted for autumn and winter and splits evenly between day and night. Worn by anyone, it suits cooler weather and someone who likes classic spice-and-wood compositions with a touch of leather, for work or evening alike.
