Peony and pink peony are the centre, fresh, slightly green and airy, with a soft rosy sweetness. Narcissus adds depth and contrast: a green, hay-like, faintly earthy floral with a narcotic edge that keeps the peony from feeling thin. Without a listed base of wood, musk or resin, the scent stays within its bouquet, shifting in intensity rather than character as it wears.
