Sweet Amber

Despite the name, Sweet Amber reads above all as a fruity gourmand, with flowers, greenery, wood, herbs and amber each noticed by only a minority. It comes from the French house Delroba, is worn by anyone, and has no recorded release year.

The fruit basket is wide, running from apple and pear to pineapple and banana, with black currant adding a tart, green edge and coconut deepening the creaminess. In the heart, rose brings floral warmth and spearmint offers a brief, cool, aromatic lift. The base rests on vanilla and sandalwood, with orris root for powder, and musk and amber for a soft, warm finish that is gentler than the title implies.

No one has yet reported on longevity or sillage. A scent this fruity and sweet tends to work in spring and summer daytime, and suits someone who enjoys an openly tropical, dessert-like profile. It is sold in a 100 ml bottle.
