Cuba Grey

Cuba Grey from the French house Cuba Paris is a simple aromatic woody fragrance for men. Wood is what everyone notices, and about a third also find it aromatic.

The composition is spare. Lavender provides the aromatic lift, clean, herbal and a little soapy, in the manner of a classic fougère opening. The body is vetiver which brings an earthy, dry, faintly smoky and grassy character that runs from the middle to the end. Woody and woodsy notes round it out with a dry, steady structure, so the drydown is clean wood with no sweetness and no fruit.

It is marketed as masculine and has the character of a no-nonsense everyday scent, suited to daytime and the office across most of the year, for someone who likes lavender and vetiver done plainly.
