Lemon, orange, mandarin orange and petitgrain give a sharp, zesty opening with a slightly bitter leafy edge; lavender and clary sage add a clean, herbal, barbershop freshness; and vetiver with patchouli supplies a dry, rooty base that keeps it from vanishing too quickly.
