Declaration Fraiche is a spicy fragrance from the French house Cartier, released in 2016. Spice leads, with wood close behind and a lighter citrus touch.
Bergamot opens with a fresh, clean citrus brightness, quickly joined by cardamom, which adds a cool, aromatic spice, and coriander, which brings a light, slightly citrusy warmth. Cumin gives a dry, savoury edge that adds character and a little skin-like warmth. In the base, cedar and vetiver provide a dry, earthy woodiness, clean and slightly smoky, that keeps the composition crisp.
