La Tulipe Hair Perfume, the 2016 hair version of the Byredo scent, is mainly woody, with smaller gourmand and floral touches.
The composition is fresh and spring-like. Rhubarb opens it with a tart, green and slightly sour freshness, which may explain the faint gourmand impression. Freesia adds a light, peppery sweetness, and cyclamen a watery, transparent floral note. Tulip, a flower with little natural scent, is evoked as a fresh, green and slightly dewy floral note. The base is clean and woody: white woods and woody notes give a pale, smooth woodiness, and vetiver an earthy, slightly smoky dryness.
