Bleu by Bharara, released in 2021 for men, is a citrus scent with a sweet, musky core. Citrus is the description everyone gives; about two thirds also call it sweet and musky, and a third find amber in it, so it is brighter than the usual berry gourmand but softer than a pure cologne.
Lemon, orange and bergamot provide a juicy, sunlit start. Wild berries and forest fruits bring a ripe, jammy sweetness that is unusual against so much citrus and gives the scent its character. Underneath, vanilla and amber add warmth while musk and white musk keep the finish clean and skin-like rather than heavy.
Longevity and sillage have not yet been reported. The combination of fresh citrus and soft sweetness suggests year-round wear, leaning towards warm days and casual evenings. It is positioned as masculine, though the fruity-musky drydown is gentle enough for anyone who enjoys sweet citrus.
