This is the warmer, smokier side of the scent. Black pepper, bay leaf and bergamot give a crisp, aromatic and peppery start. In the heart, rum brings a boozy sweetness, cinnamon a warm spice, African geranium a green, rosy note and clary sage a herbal softness. The base is richer: incense adds a dry, smoky haze, leather a smooth warmth, benzoin a balsamic sweetness, and patchouli and cedar a firm, earthy woodiness.
