The top notes are bright and warm: pink pepper gives a light, rosy spice, and ginger a zesty, tingling heat. In the heart, papyrus brings a dry, slightly smoky and papery note, frankincense a cool, churchy smoke and sandalwood a creamy woodiness. The base is deep and refined: agarwood, or oud, adds a smoky, resinous darkness, Atlas cedar a dry structure, moss a damp, green depth and amber a warm glow.
