We Are Tribe from the Italian house Benetton, composed by Claire Liégent in 2022, is a sweet citrus for men. Citrus is what everyone notices; most also find it gourmand, and a third pick up spice, wood, herbs and amber.

Grapefruit and kumquat open it with a bright, slightly bitter zest, sharpened by pink pepper and freshened with lemon verbena, which adds a green, lemony, herbal lift. Lavender keeps the middle clean and aromatic. The base is sweeter and warmer than the start: tonka bean brings a soft, vanilla-like sweetness, amber a mild warmth, and vetiver and cypriol a dry, earthy, slightly smoky counterweight.

It is marketed as masculine and has a cheerful, easy character suited to daytime and warm weather, for someone who likes a zesty opening that settles into sweet, woody warmth rather than staying sharp.
