Golden Ice, created by Mohammad Tammam Mando for Attar Al Has in 2021 and worn by anyone, is a fruity rose over dry woods. Everyone who describes it says woody and floral, about two-thirds add sweet, and a third spicy, ambery or citrusy.
Bergamot, litchi and rhubarb open it, the bergamot bright, the litchi sweet and rosy, the rhubarb tart and green, so the first minutes are juicy and a little sour. Turkish rose, rose and peony form the heart, with Petalia, a modern rose material, adding a clean, petal-like freshness. Nutmeg gives a warm, dry spice. The base pairs Haitian vetiver and cedar for a rooty, dry woodiness with incense for a thread of resinous smoke, while vanilla softens the finish.
Longevity and sillage have not yet been reported. The fruit and rose suit spring and autumn days, and the incense and vetiver give it enough depth for a cool evening.
