It opens with Sichuan pepper, grapefruit and pink pepper, a tingling, zesty and slightly bitter start that feels very awake. The heart turns softer: osmanthus brings a fruity, apricot-like floral note with a hint of leather, peony a fresh pink petal, and angelica a green, earthy, slightly musky herbal quality. The base is dry and natural, with vetiver for earthy smoke, cedar for clean wood and mate for a green, tea-like nuance.
