Hunter Jungle Man

Hunter Jungle Man by Armaf, released in 2023, is a spicy, woody masculine fragrance with a floral heart. Everyone who describes it says spicy; most add woody, more than half floral, and a minority aromatic, leathery or citrusy.

It is clearly staged. The opening mixes bergamot and green notes with lavender for herbal freshness, cardamom for cool spice and cumin for a warm, earthy, slightly sweaty edge. The heart is rose, jasmine and violet, a soft floral trio, heated by nutmeg, cinnamon and more cumin. The base is dark and dense: agarwood for resinous oud, cedar and sandalwood for dry and creamy wood, patchouli for earth, leather for smoke and amber for warmth.

Community reports on longevity and sillage have not yet been collected. The spiced oud-and-leather base points to autumn and winter and evenings, and it suits a man who likes warm, slightly animalic spice-and-rose compositions over fresh ones.
