Barez by Ard Al Zaafaran, released in 2023, is a white floral with a soft, sweet base. Everyone who describes it says floral, and a third add gourmand, woody, musky or citrusy.
The structure is simple and staged. Bergamot opens alone, clean and slightly bitter, a brief citrus introduction. The heart is the point of the scent: tuberose, creamy and heady; orange blossom, sweet and honeyed; and jasmine, rich and warm. Together they make a full, classic white-flower bouquet. The base is vanilla for a soft sweetness, cedar for a dry wood that stops it from becoming too plush, and musk for a smooth, skin-like finish.
