Tonka Musk by Alyssa Ashley, released in 2020, is a simple, sweet skin scent made to be worn by anyone. Everyone calls it gourmand, and about half also find it spicy, musky or amber-like.
Only five notes are listed. Cinnamon gives the opening a warm, dry spice. Tonka bean is the centre, with its almond and hay-like sweetness, and vanilla deepens it into something creamier. Musk and amber complete the base, the musk keeping the scent soft and close to the skin and the amber adding a gentle, resinous warmth.
