Desire Silver

Desire Silver from Alfred Dunhill, released in 2015, is a fresh, citrus-led masculine fragrance, with spicy, woody, ambery and leathery facets underneath.

Mandarin and bergamot open it with a juicy, bright citrus, while water notes give a cool, aquatic clarity. Violet leaf adds a green, slightly cucumber-like freshness, and cardamom a cool, aromatic spice. As it dries down, birch brings a smoky, leathery note, vetiver an earthy, rooty dryness and amber a soft warmth, giving the fresh opening a firmer, darker base.

The overall effect is clean and energetic, best suited to spring and summer, daytime wear, the office and active days. The birch and vetiver give it enough depth for a casual evening.
