Abyat, a 2021 women's fragrance from Al Wataniah, is a floral with a leathery base. Everyone who describes it calls it floral, about two thirds find it woody, and a third add spice, sweetness, leather and citrus.
Pear and mandarin orange give a crisp, juicy opening, with pepper adding a dry bite. The heart is rose, osmanthus and peony: rose for sweetness, osmanthus for its apricot and suede tones, and peony for a fresh, slightly watery floral lift. The base is where the character deepens: leather and cedar bring dry warmth, patchouli adds earth, and musk softens everything into a smooth finish.
