Supremacy Incense by Afnan, released in 2020, is a dark woody amber for men that about half of wearers also describe as spicy, green, resinous and citrus. It is dry and smoky rather than sweet.
The opening is herbal and sharp: oregano and other herbal notes give a savoury, slightly bitter greenness, spices add warmth and bergamot a brief citrus lift. The heart is all resin, with labdanum bringing a dark, sticky, leathery sweetness, opoponax a balsamic, slightly smoky depth and amber a warm glow. The base is where the name is earned: smoke and agarwood give a dry, incense-like, slightly medicinal character, leather adds a rough, animalic edge and patchouli an earthy foundation.
Performance is heavy: most wearers report it as long lasting or almost indefinite, and most find the sillage strong or enormous. It is voted mainly for winter, then autumn, and for the evening, which points to cold nights and wearers who prefer smoke and resin to anything fresh or sweet.
