e´L by the Danish house ZARKOPERFUME, released in 2013, is a clean, watery musk. Everyone who describes it uses green, woody, musky and fresh together, and about half add floral.

Sea water and sea notes give it a cool, salty, slightly ozonic opening, with pomegranate adding a faint, tart fruitiness rather than real sweetness. Green tea and green notes keep the middle airy and lightly bitter, and white flowers appear only as a soft, abstract brightness rather than any identifiable bloom. The base is white woods and woody notes, pale and dry, with white musk and musk giving the drydown a laundered, skin-like cleanliness that is the main impression it leaves.
