Onice

Onice from Somens, the Spanish house, is a woody fragrance with a strong spicy side, released in 2021 and composed by Lucas Sieuzac. It is presented as shared, with lighter musky, resinous, aromatic and citrus touches.

The opening is fresh and peppery: black pepper gives a dry, tingling spice, mint a cool, aromatic lift, and orange a juicy citrus brightness. Elemi, a resin with a peppery, lemony freshness, bridges the opening and the heart. The base is woody and smooth: cedar gives a clean, dry, pencil-shaving tone, cashmere wood a plush, almost suede-like warmth, and musk a soft, skin-close finish.
