It opens with pear and black currant, a juicy, slightly tart combination. The heart brings orange blossom, jasmine and iris: the first two are warm white flowers, while iris adds a cool, powdery, suede-like softness that gives the middle some restraint. The base is where the sweetness concentrates, with praline, vanilla and tonka bean over patchouli, so the finish is nutty, creamy and warm, with patchouli adding an earthy counterweight.
